Q: How much fuel do the boats consume?

The houseboats consume approx. 4.00 liters/h at a cruising speed of 8.00 km/h under normal driving conditions. The tank size is between 40.00 and 70.00 liters and there are 2 reserve canisters of 20 liters each on the boat.

Q: Which areas can be navigated with the houseboats?

The boats are licensed for the German inland waterways. They can therefore navigate all federal waterways and the entire inland waterways area. Areas with restrictions and navigation bans are shown on the water maps. The Berlin waters can also be navigated in their entirety. The only exception is the route through the government district in Berlin. Navigation is prohibited here between 10:00 and 19:00 due to the high density of passenger shipping.
